BugPin Privacy Policy Last updated: June 2025 BugPin ("the extension") is
developed and maintained by the BugPin team. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT BugPin stores
the following data locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local: - Bug
reports you create (title, description, URL, element selector, severity) -
Extension settings (storage mode, license key, Mantis configuration) - Session
ID for shared bug sessions If you purchase a Pro or Team license, we store your
email address and PayPal transaction ID on our backend server solely to generate
and retrieve your license key. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT - We do not collect
browsing history - We do not track which websites you visit - We do not sell any
data to third parties - We do not use data for advertising purposes SHARED
SESSIONS If you use Shared or Mantis mode, bug data is stored in Firebase
Firestore under a session ID you control. Anyone with your session ID can view
those bugs. Do not include sensitive information in bug reports shared this way.
MANTIS INTEGRATION Your Mantis API token is stored locally on your device only.
It is sent exclusively to your own backend server to create tickets — never to
our servers or any third party. PAYMENTS Payments are processed by PayPal. We
receive only your email address and transaction ID from PayPal to generate your
